A large part of that is simply because that we've grown older. Over the years I've come to accept that Prince William was just a dreamboat, a peg, a celebrity. The flame that used burn for Prince William fizzled out with time and apparently, so did his hair. The charming boy that graced the covers of many teen magazines has grown into man who has probably taken his royal duties too seriously that he's aged a lot, he's starting to look like his dad. It leaves one wondering, why can't a prince undergo hair treatments? Well, it could only mean that vanity is not in his vocabulary- which is a good thing for England. If hair loss is a symptom of high testosterone levels, I don't see why Kate should complain, either.
In all fairness, despite his receding hairline, Prince William remains to be one of the most handsome royalties. His sincerity is palpable in his interviews. His diligent and dutiful ways make him a credible heir to the throne. The prince in him still shines through.
Here's wishing that Prince William and Kate Middleton's marriage be blessed and be the real life fairy tale that Prince Charles and Lady Diana's marriage never was.
