Regine's Vow To Ogie

I just finished watching the Regine Velasquez-Ogie Alcasid wedding special on GMA-7. Regine has been one of my favorite icons growing up. I copied her short hair during high school and enjoyed being told that I looked like her, until she got bigger while I remained in my adolescent stick-thin body. I could relate in a lot of ways with Regine. Because she remained single for a very long time, I thought I was going to end up like her. I was wrong as I got hitched 3 years before she did. Incidentally, she got married to the love of her life on my birthday.

At 40, Regine finally settled down and tearfully pledged this touching vow to Ogie:

And to quote the APO…

“I love you. I’ve never felt so happy in my life.”

Come To Me

Dear Universe,

Will posting these new Philippine currencies help attract my wish for prosperity and abundance? If it does, I hope to have a million-fold of all of these by next year.. especially more of the Php1000 bills. I have a lot of dreams that I intend to fulfill during this lifetime. Will you please help me achieve them by giving me the financial freedom to work on my goals? Thank you and Merry Christmas! :)

Checking What The Stars Say

Overview for this Month: Capricorn (All)

December 2010

You're large and in charge this month, dear Capricorn, although something comes to your attention that prompts you to make changes to your image. Your manner this month, from the 7-10 forward, can be a little intimidating if you're not careful. You are assertive and friendly on one hand, but a little secretive, aloof, and hard to read on the other. You are taking a temporary break from competitive energies and ambitions. They're not exactly on hold, but you are taking more time to think about what it is you want. Still, you have tremendous energy on your side. Tone down your manner if you can, for maximum success this month. A work matter comes to a head in the second half of the month. Emotions can run high, and you might worry a little more than is healthy. But this can also point to a peak if you handle it well.

Overview.

Until the 21st, the Sun continues to shine its light on your solar twelfth house. This is the time to listen to your intuition, to take a break from the hectic pace of your life, and to reflect on what you have learned in the past year. You might naturally retreat a little and take more private time for yourself now. Your physical energy levels may not be up to par for the time being, and this is your body signalling you to take a break. This is not an ideal time for pushing forward with new personal projects and plans. It is better to finish up projects and tie up loose ends now.

The Sun illuminates your first house from the 21st, bringing issues surrounding your personal identity, appearance, outward behavior, and self-expression to the forefront. This marks the peak of your physical solar cycle, and you are in the position to make an impression on others, and to assert your personal influence. Spontaneity of expression is what this transit is about. You are ready to put your past behind you and to start a new personal cycle. You have presence and you project confidence. Increased energy and a renewed feeling of confidence is with you now, so take advantage. It's a great month to do something entirely new and pioneeringto go solo in some area of your life. This particular season of the year smiles on your personal endeavors. This is a time when you more easily get in touch with a true sense of your identity and purpose. The most enterprising side of your nature surfaces, and it's time to seize opportunities. Existing problems in your life may be overcome now by bravery and a straightforward approach to your life. There's nothing wrong with a bit of self-centeredness during this cycle, but avoid taking it too far. It's not the best time for team work and other cooperative endeavors. The spotlight is on you and your ability to lead, so make it a good one! Take steps to improve how you come across to others. It's time to carve your own path in life.

A Lunar Eclipse occurs on December 21st, 2010, at 29 degrees Gemini. A general rule of thumb regarding eclipses is to avoid major decision-making in the week before and after an eclipse. This is because new information that could change our perspective often is revealed in the week after the eclipse. Therefore, major decision-making is best avoided from December 14th to 28th. There is absolutely no need to suspend projects already in progress. Essentially, it's better to take in right now--to observe and get in touch with feelings.

The Lunar Eclipse on the 21st stimulates your solar sixth house. Surprises surrounding work, working relationships, daily routines, or health issues are in store. Something that has been "in hiding" or brewing under the surface of things comes to light, or there is a significant fruition or culmination. In Virgo, flaws come to light and demand a clean-up. This could manifest as, for example, a work project coming to an end or bearing fruit, a surprising announcement on the job, a circumstance that calls for you to support a co-worker, a flurry of activity prompted by the demands of work or for your services, a surprising health matter, and other such possibilities. You can use this surge of emotional energy to make positive changes to your routines. Do something to improve your work conditions if they are annoying you--even if it's a small act of kindness with a co-worker or bringing in something to brighten up your desk or office. Get going on your exercise or nutrition program that you've been toying with in your mind.

Mercury is retrograde from December 10-30th, 2010. All Mercury retrograde cycles particularly affect you in terms of communications regarding travels, legal matters, or opinions, as well as communications on the job and with co-workers, because Mercury rules these areas of your life. It's best not to sign on the dotted line for the time being, especially when it comes to making travel plans or any legal contracts. There could be irritating mess-ups on the job. You might be inclined to miss important details in your paperwork, or might experience frustrating delays that result from co-workers' errors. Travel plans may go awry, or you may have a change of heart. Occurring in your solar twelfth and first houses this time, extra care should be exercised when it comes to body language and intuition. Others may misinterpret your body language, and you should be aware of a tendency to give off mixed signals. People in your life may complain that you seem emotionally distant. This is a time to review the manner in which you come across to others--not so much whether it truly reflects your nature, but more in terms of whether it is working for or against you. You may find that you are less able to rely on your intuition. Perhaps you're picking up the wrong cues or reading too much into situations. Whatever the case may be, for the time being, you may not feel that your intuition is serving you well. Be as non-judgmental as you can, but do keep an eye out for deceptiveness and falseness in others. It would be wise to be especially clear when it comes to communicating with close partners and family members; or take this time to re-examine issues rather than communicating about them prematurely.
Venus continues to move through your solar eleventh house this month. This is a strong time for putting your ego aside and lowering your defenses and simply enjoying people. It's a good time for networking and settling disputes if there are differences to iron out with friends. Cooperation comes easily, and warm friendships can be made during this cycle. Personal freedom is especially important to you right now, and you won't enjoy any associations that limit you. It can also be a good time for earnings from business.

Mars energizes your solar first house from the 7th forward, supplying you with added energy to apply towards personal goals, and a more assertive and direct approach to the world in general. This is an excellent period for physical training and exercise of any kind. The desire to be self-sufficient and independent is especially strong now. You are far less tolerant of being restricted by or dependent on others, and this is a good time to identify your personal strengths and to take positive action to rectify situations that may have previously felt frustrating or repressive. You might be especially attracted to personal challenges, and seeing just how far you can push. However, be careful not to push yourself (and others) too far.

Lunar Cycles & Stations For You This Month:
November 30-December 1 Monthly career and reputation peak. Your credibility is important at this time of the lunar month, and efforts at self-promotion might be made now. This is the time when you're noticed for what you've done or haven't done. Do your best to be in top form, make career adjustments if needed, and don't be afraid to show others exactly what you're made of. You're at your best when you are showing the world your practical, competent, and responsible side.
December 5 A New Moon in Sagittarius in your solar twelfth house occurs now and affects you until the next New Moon on January 4th. This is a period of review, letting go, and recharging one's spiritual and, in effect, physical "batteries". Focus, now, is on fulfillment through service, empathy, and awareness of other's needs; but it can also be a time of withdrawal and some sort of retreat in a social sense, depending on your personal and natural predisposition. Some kind of soul-searching is in order, and the urge to find some level of emotional peace of mind will be apparent. This is a more sensitive position of the New Moon, and it is best to find some sort of peace for the soul in preparation for the New Moon in the first house—a period that is more active and busy than this one.
December 7-8 Your Personal New Moon. A new personal cycle begins for you, and you feel fresh and re-energized. It's all about you now, so it's time to put your best foot forward. A blast of personal energy comes your way, and showing your leadership skills works for you now. You are at your most convincing, as others are accepting you at face value. Some people find that the Moon in their sign brings with it a restless, discontented, and emotional state, and that there is more on their plate than they expected or wanted. If this is the case for you, remember that these feelings are there because you need to make a change, however big or small. Use it to stimulate activity and positive change.
December 9-10 Monthly money and income peak. You're looking at the world in terms of value and worth now, and what you have (or don't have) is on your mind. Money issues pop up now—the discovery of a way to increase your income, an unexpected gift or reward, or a brief and tiny financial crisis that motivates you to find new ways to make money are possible.
December 9-11 Mercury is stationary now, turning retrograde on December 10th, and will remain retrograde until December 30th--a cycle during which rethinking matters is the name of the game. When Mercury is stationary, as it is now, it's especially important to prepare for possible breakdowns in communication. Back up your computer, double-check your paperwork, and remember that you may not have all the necessary information to make big decisions for the time being. Avoid signing contracts or deals, as they may not work out as you expected, or they might need revision later.
December 17-18 Romance and pleasure are highlights right now with the Moon in your solar fifth. The Moon is in your element, and so are you! The flowing, expressive, and spontaneous energy surrounding you attracts like-minded (and hearted) people. Be sure to take time to enjoy yourself, preferably around others! Keywords: romance, creativity, spontaneity, pleasure, self-expression.
December 21 A Full Moon Lunar Eclipse occurs today in Gemini in your solar sixth house. This Lunar Eclipse can influence you for 3-6 months. Avoid blaming others for your own state of discontent if that's how you are feeling right now. This may also be a time when a work project comes to fruition or completion.
December 21-22 Your partnerships are highlighted right now, and it's time to compromise. Insecurities in your partnerships are brought to light now, and the best way to handle this is to understand that you need others instead of competing for the floor. Some people find this time of the lunar month an energy sapper, as they feel ignored or unnoticed. Trying to go it alone won't work just now. The spotlight is on other people for the time being, and it's best to let them shine. Concentrate on truly listening to those close to you, and on playing a supportive role. Perhaps not a time to be make a presentation or to come on strong to the world. You are feeling reflective rather than expressive.
December 28-29 Monthly career and reputation peak.

Wish for Christmas

For the longest time, I've been praying for my in-laws to find a livelihood that could make them self sufficient. I even wish they would win the lotto but wonder how long the money would stay with them if they ever hit the jackpot. Oh God, please let them work their butts off and make them do something about their lives before they bleed us dry. I want to live a prosperous life with my husband but it's just too difficult to take flight when you have to carry extra loads for those who are too indolent to grow their own wings.  Please Lord, if you can't make my husband and I billionaires now, at least please bless his family with sufficient means to live decent lives without having to suck the life out of everyone else. Please restore their pride and make them live and let live.

Universe, pretty please? Is that too much to ask?

In the Company of Jerry Yan

Until now, the universe hasn't granted my request for a clinic and medical spa. But I'm still hopeful it will be given to me in due time. Instead of fretting over things that are still difficult to achieve at this point (translation: while waiting to hit the lotto jackpot to help finance my goals), I'm reading the latest book by Brian Tracy
called "Now.. Build a Great Business." It's a helpful read for someone like me who "attempts" to run her own empire without any entrepreneurial background.

In between reading books by the gurus, I went over my DVD collections and guess what I found:  "Meteor Garden!" Yes, that TV series which made Asia fall in love with Dao Ming Si and Shan Cai. Admittedly, at that time when it came out in 2003, I swooned for Jerry Yan, too. But then I wasn't crazy enough to fly to Manila and watch his concert when the F4 visited the Philippines. I didn't fancy the thought of screaming with the rest of the women who believed him to be their future husband. Anyway, I played the DVD and was hooked to the series all over again. It sure brought back a lot of memories, including the time I got myself a  layered haircut and ended up looking like Dao Ming Si. Never in my dreams did I intend to look like a man. On the brighter side, at least he's a pretty boy.

Then I wondered whatever happened to Jerry Yan. I googled for his whereabouts and found quite a number of series he's done after Meteor Garden. Interestingly, he's essayed the role of a doctor in "The Hospital" in 2006 something I've never heard being released locally. Or maybe I was too busy with my own love life in 2006 so I didn't care whatever was being aired on TV. I tried searching online to watch the show. There's one in youtube  but I still want my own DVD copy of it. It's out of stock on Amazon. Somehow, nothing beats the tandem of Shan Cai and Dao Ming Si that I secretly wish they'd end up together in real life. Too bad Barbie Hsu (Shan Cai) is  now engaged to a wealthy restaurateur in China.

Until my business plans  finally push through, Jerry Yan flicks will keep me company to make waiting game more bearable (hear me out, Universe!)  Lee Min Ho, Jerry's Korean counterpart, is way too young, and I couldn't get past episode 5 of "Perfect Match" without having to stretch my imagination to make his partner pretty enough for him.

I Want My Own Medical Spa

This shoutout goes to the universe. I now got the skills, business plan, people to hire. I'm just waiting for the universe to grant me the money to start this venture. Any angel investors out there?

M&M: Meditation and Mantra

I 've read that meditation can aid in healing diseases like cancer. It ranks alongside a healthy diet in promoting wellness. Being a believer in the law of attraction, I am positive that proper conditioning of the mind will yield favorable results.

I am viewing my illness this time as a road to discovery, rather than a punishment or a result of all the negative thoughts and actions in the past. I used to think that I deserved to have cancer because of my destructive emotional self. I realized that by being guilty of my past deeds and blaming myself for them will not help in healing myself in any way. I have decided to take control of my thoughts and not the other way around.

Writing journals work like meditation, so as prayers, listening to relaxing music, soaking in bath which put the mind in a state of calm that will ease your thoughts. Most illnesses have something to do with stress and these ways are supposed to help us handle it.

D90 or D300?

When I was in college, I was one of the few carrying around an SLR camera as an official photographer of our school yearbook. During med school, I buried my nose on textbooks and forgot about photography. Then I found the camera to be sickly, after years of not being used. A friend said if I were given a good camera, I could make miracles out of it.

When I finally bought a D40, things were much different. I have a lot to catch up in matters of digital photography. Because of this, I decided to sign up for an upcoming workshop. I will be needing the skills for blogging, makeup, and simply to re-ignite my abandoned passion.

Now reading some forums, I am confused. Should I buy a new lens of get a D90 body? Or should I save up more bucks for a Nikon D300s? Oh, and the video feature of Canon 550D looks tempting too! Universe, could you make it a lot more easier for me by giving me the means to have the best choice among these?

I Write Like

I Write Like by Mémoires, Mac journal software. Analyze your writing!

I got this link from Jessica Zafra's blog. I write like is an online analyzer that compares your way of writing with literary giants. Even if you write a la Barok, there will still be a writer to whom your style will be compared. This is just something to stroke our egos, at the expense of some famous author.

As for me, the result was David Foster Wallace. I'm honestly not familiar with his works so I googled his name, only to find out he committed suicide on September 12, 2008. Ok, so I write like someone who hanged himself. Wikipedia states that he suffered from depression for 20 years and was maintained on antidepressants. When side effects started to bother him, he tried to wean himself from his medications but his depression worsened. After restoring phenelzine, he found out it no longer worked on him as it did before. Then depression got the better of him.

At least the "I Write Like" application entertained me for a bit, and it introduced me to David Foster Wallace. Jessica Zafra's result, by the way is Vladimir Nabokov. Funny how she dislikes Dan Brown. I wonder how she'd feel if the result yielded Stephenie Meyer.

Cars Against Cancer

We hear cars transforming into robots but what could be more heroic than cars fighting cancer? Not that they are fortified with cancer-busting interiors, but they can raise funds for research and patients' support. Cancer remains to be one of the leading causes of deaths, often with elusive answers to why and how you get it.In other words, it can happen to anybody. We're still at war with cancer but hopefully someday, we can find a cure to it like how antibiotics were discovered as a cure for bacterial infections.

Benevolent souls give money to charities but this unique program in the US encourages people to donate cars to help fight cancer. Your vehicle will be sold at its highest possible value, and the proceeds will support the advocacy against cancer through various projects. Car donations seems to be absurd especially when you can't even buy your own second hand ride, but for those with extra vehicles that are only gathering dusts or rusts in the garage, giving the cars away will do good for a lot of people suffering from the dreaded disease.

Vehicle donations don't entail your brand new BMW to be sacrificed, because cars that no longer run will do. No matter how dilapidated it looks, it will still go a long way, even as far as saving lives.

Does He Mean Like A Burglar Alarm?

There goes another Brittany quote for you. Watch the teaser of Episode 18 of Glee, "Laryngitis." I'm quite looking forward to the 80's Rick Springfield "Jessie's Girl" number sung by Finn in this episode.

What In The World Does "Pitchy" Mean?

I'm a regular viewer of American Idol and I always hear the word "pitchy" from the judges' comments. Is this something technical that only musically- trained people understand? Does it refer to hitting notes off key? I can tell a voice that sounds good from one that doesn't, but I don't get it why some contestants are told that "they sounded pitchy all over" when to me, it was good.

Music, like beauty, can be subjective. What one person may like, another listener may not approve of. Pitchy or not, I still enjoy American Idol. Here is one of the finalists often underestimated (blame it on his youth and inexperience) but has got to be one of the best crooners for this season. I find nothing pitchy in this performance and none of the judges mentioned the word, in fairness. But he did get a lot of that comment during the previous weeks.

I just think this is one of the best performances for the Shania Twain night aside from the good-looking Casey James' number. I'm actually a fan of Aaron Kelly, the underdog, although I don't think he'll snag the title of the next American Idol. Will this week be Aaron's last? I hope not but we'll find out in a few hours.

As Long As We Get To Kill Some Vampires

..Says Jacob, obviously directing the statement to Edward. This is yet another trailer of the upcoming Twilight Saga movie, Eclipse. I wonder if the Eclipse movie will bore again like the 2nd installment of the series did. Guess I'll have to know when it opens come June 30,2010. But this looks more action packed than the last one. Crossing fingers this will be better. The clash between the vampires and wolves kinda scare me. I haven't read the Eclipse book lying around here on my desk.

Sigma Lens 18-200mm shots

Sometimes, I wish that my hubby is into photography just so he could take great shots of me. For the longest time, no one was interested to take pictures of me except myself which was why I got into a photography hiatus. When I attempted to re-ignite the old passion, technology was so much different and everyone else was doing well in it except me.

I bought a Nikon D40 about 2 years ago to document my works as a make-up artist. I am impatient and I can't wait for the photographers' online posts to see how my work turns out in photos. But then, my shots just don't give justify to the makeups I did.

A week ago, I purchased my first lens apart from the kitlens, the Sigma 18-200mm. The Nikkor lens would have been an awesome option except that it costs Php 20,000 more than our Sigma lens. Since I won't be doing photography professionally, I decided to go for the cheaper alternative. I just need to take better pictures than I usually did.

The lens do make a difference. I couldn't keep myself from giggling as I was trying out the new lens at home. I was so happy with its output and what it could do. I can't say its perfect but I'm so thrilled with it that I want to learn more on digital photography.

My hubby, who is not into cameras, tried it himself and started shooting in the garden. With the manual settings I previously put in, he's got some nice shots which I was very proud of, like a Momma proud of his little boy. I am posting below some of his favorite captures. I just added borders and did minor editing.

I'm Pretty Sure My Cat's Been Reading My Diary

No, I don't have a cat and I don't keep a diary because I can't decipher my own handwriting. The title above was the line uttered by Brittany, the resident airhead of the "Glee" TV series, on their teaser video for next week's episode.

Tonight's Madonna Glee special totally rocked. Gotta love the Sue Sylvester Vogue number with William Schuester's name making its way to the lyrics. lol. But I still can't get over the fact that Jonathan Groff, the Broadway guy who plays Jesse St. James is GAY. I would have swooned to his dreamy good looks, until my googling spree on wikipedia boinked me into learning he's openly gay. Crap.

Next week's episode (Episode 16) entitled "Home" will have April Rhodes' (Remember the goosebump-inducing "Alone" duet with Schuester) return to the scene and starts flirting with William when she learns that he's divorced.

Sue goes on another Nazi frenzy when she demands that her Cheerios go on a diet for their interview on Splits Magazine, where she will be hailed as the Cheerleading coach of the last 2000 years.

Here is a sneak preview of next week's episode:

Vision Board

As a believer of the law of attraction and vision boards (make that vision blogs), here is something I wish to see myself in. I was initially going for the cover of Vogue but then I figured being on Forbes Magazine is way cooler. Gracing the cover of Vogue means I'm a fashion plate but appearing on Forbes makes me one of the richest and powerful people in the world, which makes being pretty and fashionable a lot easier. Lol. How to achieve it? That I don't know. The universe will find a way. Thanks to http://funny.pho.to/ for this. It's supposed to be a funny pic program which can make us goof around with our photos but I thought about making it into a vision tool  instead.

Glee Returns

The cast of "Glee" recently guested on the Oprah Winfrey Show to promote the second season of their top-rating musical TV Series. It's one thing to watch them sing on their show and another to  hear them perform live in a talk show like Oprah's. It's like "oh, those are really their voices.. cool!"

Lea Michele, who plays the annoying but talented Rachel Barry doesn't seem as irritating as her character when answering interviews. Her star power comes from sheer talent, good looks and years of performing on Broadway since she was 8 years old. She got to play the young Cosette of "Les Miserables."

Cory Monteith, the Canadian hearthrob essaying the role of Finn the quarterback, doesn't play football in real life and unlike the veteran performer Lea, he is new to singing. His favorite sports are hockey and basketball and he really plays the drums.

Glee Second Season will be airing starting April 13 in the US and April 14 for us here in the Philippines. I can't wait to watch the new episodes and listen to new songs they will surely be sending to the hit charts.

Here is a video of them singing live to "Somebody to Love" on Oprah. Whoa..Goosebumps.

Baby James Endorses Manny Villar

Who would have expected that Baby James, the nephew of Presidential bet Noynoy Aquino, would shout the name of his uncle's closest rival during a campaign rally in Bacolod? The cute toddler of Kris Aquino greeted the crowd with a warm hello, after then he blurted out: "Villar!" Kris, who was carrying Baby James immediately handed him over to his yaya, appearing amused and embarrassed at the same time. The crowd roared in laughter. Baby James, aside from his charisma, apparently has a killer sense of humor.

The other Presidential candidate that Baby James endorsed is Manny Villar, whose TV commercials seem to have worked its magic on little kids. Even Ruffa Gutierrez shares that her kids Lorin and Venice are singing to Villar's jingles at home. Who knows how many more kids out there are rooting for Villar?

Manny Villar, in another video, who was surprised at the unanticipated support from an Aquino family member,  thanked his little "fan" for the free endorsement .

KRIS: "Say hello to everybody"

BABY JAMES "HELLO"

KRIS AND FANS " NOY-NOY"

BABY JAMES "VILLAR"

KRIS " No i'ts a NO... Go na...

Bleeding Dance

If couples who are fighting would dance to this instead, who needs a law for violence against women? This is a dance interpretation of Leona Lewis' Bleeding Love performed by Mark and Chelsea at So You Think You can Dance. Amazing how a dance can poignantly interpret pain, a bleeding one at that.

Atty. Adel Tamano For Senator

He's on the top of my list. His pretty face may either work to his advantage or yield the opposite effect. I hope people will see beyond his exteriors and get to know about what this guy can do for our country. Please spend your votes wisely and include him in your senatorial list.

American Idol Season 9 Pinoy Lookalikes

I'm a fan of the number one US talent show but with the frequent brownouts in my city for the past few months, I've been missing out a lot. Still, I can't help but notice the semblance of 2 of the finalists from American Idol Season 9 with some of our  local celebrities.

First is the charming Siobhan Magnus, whose special skill in hitting banshee-high notes effortlessly is often compared with Adam Lambert's. Her looks isn't anywhere close to Adam, although they're both pretty. :) She reminds me of a local star who used to be married to Benjie Paras, Jackie Forster. I don't know where Jackie is right now. I don't seem to see her anywhere in showbiz  anymore. The last I heard she studied to become a freelance hair and makeup artist/ image consultant.

                                                                Siobhan Magnus

                                                               Jackie Forster

The next is Tim Urban, who along with ousted finalist Alex Lambert are stuck in the 60's or 70's, as evidenced by their old-fashioned hairstyles. With a few more members, they could revive the Beatles band- with Alex being the younger Paul McCartney. But if he comes to the Philippines, he could star as Tom Taus' missing brother in the remake of "Cedie, ang Munting Prinsipe." Tom, Antoinette Taus' younger brother, I presume is not so munti (little) anymore and I don't have a clue where is he is now.

On Getting What You Want

I'm loving the sense of humor of Esther Hicks and how she gets the message across using that ability. Here's a video during one of her inspirational talks. I want to attend  her workshops. And if it's not too much to ask, join one of their cruise ship seminars. That would be fab!

New Look

Low angle view of a young woman holding an MP3 player and listening to music, Agra Fort, Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India
It's a good thing I'm keeping this blog on a free platform because I don't have to feel guilty leaving it empty for a long time. I know it's going to be here when I come back for it, unlike self-hosted blogs that go phloof upon failure to renew.

I thought of giving this blog a new look using some free templates I found on the net. Pretty neat, huh? Browsed through my entries years ago and couldn't help laughing over my stream of thoughts. If my future children and grandchildren read those posts, I'm not sure if they'd be proud of me. But somehow my sense of humor was sharper back then.

I've been reading a lot of motivational videos these past few days, mostly applying the law of attraction. I've manifested several  things, people and events in my life through this phenomenon. The mind has certainly a lot more going than being a memory bank, learning device and judgment tool. It has the power to turn ideas into reality. The word becomes flesh because of what we focus on.

One of my favorite gurus, John Assaraf, spoke about vision boards in "The Secret". I think it works well for blogs too because 90% of the wishes I posted here came to life. The 10% that didn't come true refers to the Iphone I asked for last month.  The universe hotline either had a busy signal or was blocked by the signal jammers springing out everywhere to threaten the incoming automated election.

I'm getting a high listening to Anthony Robbins right now talking about rewiring one's approach towards health. The guy's gifted with the power of conviction, I wish I had the same ability. Ok, he just said to give the body a rest. Guess he knows I'm still up.

January 28, 2010 – WHITNEY,TX – Stephen Pierce, the Internet’s #1 wealth advocate, announces that his MRMI SuperCash system, created in 2008 to help people start their own online business, now has had almost 9,000 members sign up and is poised to reach the 10,000 member milestone this year.
“This is a significant achievement given the state of our economy today,” says Pierce. “But more importantly, it shows that people are willing to rise above their circumstances and take back control of their lives by starting learning how to make real money on the Internet.”
Members of Super Cash Are From All Walks Of Life
Many MRMI SuperCash members have never run a business before or haven’t had much computer experience. Yet here are what many current members have been able to achieve:
* Create autoblogs and then sell them for a profit.
* Drive traffic to their affiliate sites where they sell Stephen Pierce’s products and earn a commission.
* Learn multiple ways to earn money online through the Internet Marketing education provided in the weekly live webinar training.
“With SuperCash you are never alone,” says Pierce. “We provide support and the members can also interact with each other in the private forum.”
The best part about building an online income the MRMI SuperCash way is that you learn to build the foundation for passive residual income. There are no products to stock, no products to ship, no phone calls to make and no experience required.
